Having previous worked with our label under the pseudonym Hoodlum back in 2011, he is no new comer to the Techno community, but this new guise delves a little deeper into his more laid back, soulful sound! Also be sure to look out for his upcoming ‘Source Of Ignition EP’ which will feature some heavy remixes from a selection of Corrupt Systems artists. Due for release in early 2013!

PAUL FARRELL – QUESTIONABLE OUTLOOK EP 

Dublin based Paul Farrell, has been DJ’ing for the last ten years. Starting out with a love for Hip Hop and over the years progressed to find his sound in Techno music of all shapes and sizes.

He notes his main influences as Dave Clarke, A. Paul, Luke Slater, Chris Liebing, Sven Vath, Ritchie Hawtin, Robert Hood, Mike Humphries, Justin Berkovi, Chemical Bro’s, Brian Sanhaji, Leftfield, Alex Under, Beastie Boys, Monoloc, The Belleville 3, The Advent, Industrialyzer, Fran Hartnett, Bas Mooy, Adam Beyer, DJ Slot, Jerome Sydenham, Paul Ritch, Matador, Cari Lekebusch, Nitzer Ebb, DJ Rush, Len Faki, Adam X, and all that lies between….

He has played all around Dublin and in the last year he has supported Ancient Methods & A PAUL, CHRIS LIEBING Adam X, Djamel, Diarmaid O’Meara, Sunil Sharpe, Alan Oldham AKA DJ T-1000, and played under the same roof as Dave Clarke & Sven Vath.

He has worked with some truly high profile labels, such as A.Paul’s phenomenal Naked Lunch, Mike Humphries legendary Mastertraxx imprint, Andreas Florin’s We Call It Hard Records, as well as countless others. Gradually carving out his own unique sound, he is now a welcome addition to the Corrupt Systems line up, and his debut EP on our label is sure to make an impact!

We return once again with our 23rd release to date, this time featuring label front man, ‘Oris’. His ‘Near Death Experience EP’ stays true to his tradition sound, but this time introducing a more experimental element in the shape of tracks ‘M.X.E.A.M’ & ‘Rabbits’, both of which carry Oris’ dark and oppressive atmospherics. As always though he provides some more traditional 4×4 peak time tracks in the shape of ‘Equilibrium’ and ‘Restrictions’.
